Golders Green Complete Refurbishment, Extension and Loft

This stunning five bedroom family home was created by stripping two flats back to brick and stud to create one modern and stylish property. Getting to exactly what her clients want from a property, understanding their lifestyle and how best to meet these needs is at the heart of every project undertaken by Charlie. This meticulous attention to detail was used in abundance on this project.

Internally, the loft was extended, adding a third story that houses a master suite. The space includes a loft storage, ensuite, juliet balcony and wet underfloor heating, resulting in a space that perfectly blends practicality and comfort - perfect for unwinding.

This unwavering attention to detail continued on the outside of the property where original features have been juxtaposed with striking modern design. The client opted to add beautiful stained glass paneling to the front door and circular porch windows accentuate the period nature of the property and original stained glass windows on the staircase. A new staircase was created, adding wow factor to the entrance hall. Dated pebble dashing was replaced with an insulated silicone render, improving the energy efficiency of the property. The original porch has been extended, creating an external alcove, complete with low level benches for sheltering from the elements.

The rear of the property features a contemporary timber clad extension. The additional space houses a generous bespoke kitchen and living space with views over the newly landscaped garden. The ergonomic aluminium frame features sliding doors that allow for the corner of the space to be fully opened, creating a cantilevered roof.
